Item Description
21.75x28" poster featuring design by Frank Mell w/text at top that reads "Now You're Taking Us Seriously." Issued by AMC Press in 1973 to promote their line of comic strips and comic books on microfilm. Folded as issued, most of these posters were distributed to academic institutions like libraries and as such saw limited distribution. Poster features several character from comic strips like Flash Gordon, Popeye, Little Orphan Annie, Tarzan, Felix the Cat and others as well as 16 Marvel Comics characters including Captain America, Silver Surfer, members of the Fantastic Four, The Avengers and the X-Men, Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, Iron Man, Sub-Mariner and large, full body image of Spider-Man. Reverse of poster has letter from Stan Lee as well as list of titles and ordering information. No mailing label and only lt. wear as folded. Exc. Something different and visually striking for the Marvel collector.
