Item Description
Pair of thin cardboard window cards for off-Broadway theater performances of Anton Checkov's "Ivanov" and Eugene Ionesco's "The Killers." "Ivanov" card features profile portrait by artist Carlson and is for the play's first New York performance at the Renata Theatre in 1958. Pin holes at top/bottom center w/strip of moderate aging along left margin. Fine/VF. "The Killers" card features gloved hand partially crushing title as illustrated by artist Roger Baker. Card is from the play's 1960 premier run at the Seven Arts Theatre in New York City. Printed by Artcraft Litho. & Ptg. Co. Three staple holes across top margin w/darker aging at margins. Fine/VF. Scarce window cards.
