Item Description
Original paper-covered cardboard box w/illustrated lid label contains three-piece set made in Japan and distributed by Borgfeldt. 1930s. Box shows scattered lit. wear/aging w/slight inward lid warp. Still very clean and VF overall w/no corner splits. Label is clean and VF/Exc. Mickey and Minnie Mouse bisques are same 4.25" tall versions as in previous item #1824 (though Mickey's pants are different color) and seated Pluto is 2.75" tall. Both Mickey and Minnie have copyright label under feet, though Mickey's is slightly worn. Each has only tiniest trace of wear, all remain choice, NM examples. One of the rarest boxed Mickey Mouse bisque sets. Michael J. Stern Collection.
