Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid featuring portraits of The Beatles w/facsimile signatures contains unused pair of sneakers size "4M" (as marked on end of box). c. 1964. Box features "Wing Dings" logo on two end panels. Complete w/original "Wing Dings" logo tissue paper/packing material. Box has very lt. trace of aging and slight dust soiling. Box bottom has inward warp w/some corner creases. Box is o/w tight and Fine. Sneakers are rare high top slip-on variety rather than sneaker style, each 9" long w/canvas body and rubber soles. Each has repeated Beatle portraits, facsimile signatures and band name. Shoes have some scattered faint moisture staining, left shoe has staining to about half of canvas while right shoe has staining only to inside back half. As is, shoes are still bright and display Exc. Unworn, old store stock. A classic and desirable Beatles item. Michael J. Stern Collection.
