Item Description
5x7x7" tall solid wood w/pressed wood composition panels on four sides. Each panel has great high relief image of Mickey Mouse playing a different instrument. 1930s. Front has small "Emerson Mickey Mouse" metal plate, additional Emerson plate on the wooden back panel is also present. Both knobs are vintage replacements and two of the four feet on underside have been replaced. Has complete and intact fabric speaker cover. Radio is o/w complete and all original including tubes and electric cord. Radio turns on and hums, but we were unable to tune in a station. Side panels have been reinforced and polished, giving radio a fresh appearance while maintaining original look. Displays VF. Classic piece of Disneyana. Michael J. Stern Collection.
