Item Description
9" long steel framed seat w/vinyl covering. The 1968 "Huffy Yellow Submarine" three-speed "Sun Sail" model bicycles are among the rarer pieces of Yellow Submarine merchandise. These bicycles were all painted basic solid yellow and the seat has Yellow Submarine graphic on top. Seat bracket, springs and frame all have surface oxidation. Soiling/wear on underside of vinyl. Original "Huffy" plate attached to seat back w/oxidized rivets. Seat vinyl is split at rear corners about 1.5" and the front horn has split around the steel frame. .25" cut on seat. Overall well worn but graphics remain nice especially the Submarine itself. Just Good but still very displayable. Michael J. Stern Collection.
