Item Description
First at 7/8" with W&H paper is c. 1937 reading "Liberty Legion/Ford Motor Division." This was a Ford company dominated union that opposed United Auto Workers organizing efforts. This union was dissolved in 1939 when Ford and the U.A.W. reached an agreement. Next is 2" tall figural "1" litho tin tab with unbent stem and with text "The One Fine Car In Its Field/'50 Ford." First we can recall seeing. Next is 15/16" rarity. Reverse has Chicago union bug and large text on paper "Give Once For All." Front reads "Chicago Area/Ford/Employees United Contribution Plan." Enclosed are symbols for charities including Red Feather, Torch/Heart and Sword. All are NM displaying Mint.
