Item Description
2x9x1" thick box holds Ralston premium from 1939-40. Box has some creases, mostly on the side edge but remains Fine. The primary item is a balsa wood airplane with metal strips holding hinged wings and with a metal weight on the front. The Ralston "Tom Mix Straight Shooters" logo appears on each wing. The tail is here along with a wooden stick used to launch the plane although the stick is missing a rubber band. What is not here is a paper parachute that held a small metal figure of a man who was supposed to float to the ground after the plane was launched. The instruction sheet is here (5x7.5") with some browning on one side, some small edge nicks and some folds from being packaged. The plane itself is in gorgeous condition. A very scarce premium.
