Item Description
4" long mailer has a little flaking of the mailing label but otherwise in extremely Fine condition. This premium came with either brass or aluminum case and this is the brass version. Issued by Peter Pan Peanut Butter in 1949. The device has owners personal serial number at upper right "180948." Front of the piece features decoding wheel plus opening to serve as magnifying glass. Right side edge has opening with internal red wheel which can be used to ink stamp individual alphabet letters. One side edge has images of King's plane "Flying Arrow" and his horse "Yellow Fury." Opposite edge serves as a ruler. Underside has full figure of him with his initials "SK" along side. One of the most complex decoders of all time and extremely well made. Much luster remains.
