Item Description
Large and impressive 40x56" OWI poster #43 published by US Government Printing Office #0-510256, 1943. Graphics feature image of group of people of various faiths in prayer as painted by noted illustrator Norman Rockwell as it appeared in "The Saturday Evening Post." Text reads "Save Freedom Of Worship - Buy War Bonds" w/additional text reading "Each According To The Dictates Of His Own Conscience." Folded as issued, poster has 1.25" tear at right center w/some small tears at a few fold crease intersections. Center vertical fold has a few tiny spots of surface paper wear. Still displays clean and VF overall w/strong color. Classic Rockwell graphics. Campbell Family Collection.
