Item Description
15.5" tall hollow plaster statue features great full figure of Davy Crockett, depicting him standing in coonskin cap w/musket at his side, powder horn on his hip. He wears fringe buckskin outfit and has knife about waist. c. 1955. Nicely detailed head has sparkle accents on tail of coonskin cap and on jacket. Exc. Rare. Eric Renner Collection and and the example shown on page 255 of  his book "American Disguise."
