Item Description
Pair of solid painted plaster statues given as prizes at carnivals in the 1930s. Wimpy stands 13.5" tall while Popeye is 14" tall. A number of Popeye statues were produced in different sizes, poses and in a wide variety of colors. This example is very nicely painted and in choice, NM condition. Wimpy statue has some small scattered paint wear to hat, face and shoes. VF/Exc. Nice matching pair. Eric Renner Collection.
