Item Description
11.5" tall solid plaster figure features great full body depiction of female factory worker in uniform w/her hands behind her back. Front of base has incised "Miss Victory" name. Obviously inspired by Rosie the Riveter. Back of base has incised name of "The Multi Plastics" maker of Chicago and ©1942 date. Some scattered small paint flakes w/.25" long sliver/flake off brim of hat which also has 1/8" chip. Brim has had color touch-ups to these areas and small area on pants pocket. Fine overall. Rare and first we've offered in our 49 years. Eric Renner Collection and the example shown on page 219 of his book "American Disguise."
