Item Description
Pair of illustrated cardboard boxes w/die-cut display lid contain figurine painting sets by Hadley Co. © Bob Smith, c. 1950. Hadley also produced figurines of Clarabell, Indian Princess and Mister Bluster. Boxes show scattered handling wear w/crease and tears (tape repair to 1.25" tear on small set) and each has even moderate aging. Both lids have been punched. VG overall. Largest set contains 6.5" tall unpainted plaster figure of Flub-A-Dub and four capped glass jars of paint. Set original also contained a Dilly Dally figurine, but this is missing. Original tissue paper present. Flub-A-Dub figure is Exc. Smaller set contains single 6-5/8" solid plaster figurine of Howdy Doody, four watercolor paint tablets, paintbrush and original tissue paper. Figurine has some lt. discoloration to face but is o/w unused and VF/Exc.
