Item Description
Size 10, 1.75" dia. 14 Karat Gold Hunting Case pocket watch w/engraved on case front, set amidst floral filigree design. Back of case opens to reveal "Uncle Frank To Bessie - Xmas 1879" presentation engraving w/flourishes. When case back is opened, it reveals second case door that has "Detached Lever - N 7109 - Francois Jacqueline - Locle" text and key wind holes. This shows moderate wear from use and opens to reveal watch movement. White porcelain dial marked w/black Roman numerals w/sub seconds dial at 6 o'clock position. 1879. Dial has hairline between at 2 and 3 o'clock numerals and tiny hairline at center post. Bezel shows lt. wear at edges. Back of case has two small shallow indents. Comes w/key and is Running. Fine overall.
