14.5x21" single-sided paper map. Issued by Household Finance Corporation as indicated by imprint along bottom. 1930s. © Rand McNally & Co. Map is a very detailed overhead view of London c. 1890, including street names, prominent buildings and landmarks such as "Sherlock Holmes Residence, Madame Tussaud's Wax Works, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, London Docks, Kensington Gardens," etc. Featured Holmes-related items at the four corners which include microscope, magnifying glass, beakers and fingerprint. Folded as issued w/pin holes at corners. VF overall. Rare and one of only a few examples we've offered in our 49 years.
