Item Description
Pair of rings, one woman's size 5, the other man's size 9 were given to Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide advisors in 1992. Designed by Bob Overstreet and made by B&B Jewelers in Indianapolis, IN, each ring and separate bullet is pure silver. Only 30 of each were produced and distributed at a meeting in Gatlinburg, TN. Fully licensed, each carries name of copyright holder Palladium Limited Partners and trademark/copyright text along w/date. Top of each ring has "Overstreet" name w/other side having "CBPG" book initials. Band of each ring has "19" one side w/small red stone (also produced w/yellow stones) below w/lightning bolt finished in gold. Opposite side is identical, but w/"92" number. Top of each ring has V-shaped notch designed to hold one of two figural bullets that came w/each ring. These were attached to rings via rectangular segment on underside of bullet designed to slip into ring top slot. "Tonto" bullet has his name flat end. Side of bullet has raised "Tonto" name as well as feather image. Ladies' ring has 7/8" bullets long while men's ring has 1.25" long bullets. Lone Ranger bullet has "Lone Ranger" name on flat end of bullet and side of bullet also has raised "Lone Ranger" name and incised black mask w/raised pair of crossed pistols. Together, the rings and bullets weigh 3.5oz. Rings have scattered age tarnish but are o/w Mint as issued. Each comes w/folded instruction sheet (which Overstreet has signed on back of one), drawstring bag and jeweler envelopes.
