10.5x17" book published by Whitman, ©1933. No. 938 features interesting front cover, w/about half opening from left in normal book fashion while about of the rest of the cover opens from right, allowing viewing of strip of book contents at center. Little Orphan Annie punch-out doll at left, Mickey doll at right w/Sandy punch-out doll and punch-out stove on back cover. Six pages outfits/accessories and various items, including Annie's diary, Sandy's bowl, Asian outfits for both and food to go w/stove included on back. Cover touts "112 Pieces To Play With." Pinch creases to spine w/some scattered lt. wear. .5" tear at top center of pages which have slightly brittle margins. Fine overall. Some loose perforations, but complete and o/w unused. Very rare paper doll book, only the second we've offered in our 49 years.
