Item Description
9x13" w/12 pages. Rand McNally & Company, ©1944. Based partially on the original adventure story and partially on the Universal Pictures adventure film of that year starring Maria Montez, John Hall and Turhan Bey. Cover art is repeated front/back on thin cardboard. Cover interiors have montage film scenes. Pages include four pages of captioned film scenes while remainder of contents are full color pages of 80 small story squares to be cut out and mounted on appropriate numbered blank squares w/story captions. Moderate handling wear w/pinch creases to spine and some small margin tears to cover. 2-5/8" spine split at top and 1.75" split at bottom. VG overall, w/VF pages. Great design. Rare.
