Item Description
Lot of six textured paper-covered cardboard pencil boxes ranging from 3x8" to 5.25x8.75". All by American Pencil Co., late 1930s to early 1940s. Boxes feature five different lid designs and one color variety. Varying degrees of aging/handling wear, one w/.75" edge split. VG to VF overall. Boxes come w/two "Silver Bullet" pen sets by Everlast Pen Corp. Each metal pen is same 3.25" long design w/different graphics. One blue Lone Ranger pen (w/small ball chain at end) comes on 3-5/8x5" illustrated die-cut card w/loops to hold pen. Card shows scattered aging/wear w/one missing loop. Fine. Pen is Exc. Scarce w/card. Other set features same blue Lone Ranger pen, but w/o chain. Set also includes green Tonto pen and red Silver pen. All come in 1-7/8x5" embossed leather belt loop featuring images of the three characters. Some scattered aging to two pens, but o/w VF/Exc.
