Item Description
Lot of five pieces (including envelope), all issued in 1956 to members of the "Elvis Presley Fan Club" as noted by printed return address on mailer envelope. Envelope has some handling wear and lt. even aging but is VF overall. 5.5x8.5" typed letter has "Elvis Presley" name and small photo image of him at top and mentions enclosed membership card (which is not included in this lot) as well as mentioning busy film, music and TV schedule, "The Elvis Presley" story (included on back of merchandise paper) and "Fine Souvenirs" mentioned on enclosed items included w/this lot. Folded as mailed. Publicity slip for upcoming issue of "Coronet" magazine featuring "Elvis Presley: The Astounding 'Rock 'N' Roller'" article. This was a time-specific insert and saw distribution over a short time. Tiny spot of staining but o/w clean and bright. Last two items on blue paper feature a number of different types of Elvis merchandise, including - photo souvenir album, wallet (see item #2636), scarf, t-shirt, charm bracelet, pencils, "Intimate Message" record, lipstick, glow-in-the-dark photo and rare Elvis statuette, all of which are pictured. These two sheets have been folded as mailed and aside from tiny margin tear to one, all are Exc. All items are rare.
