Item Description
First two are 3" and last three are 3.5". All but the second and last carry name of maker Phila. Badge. First is from Central June '48. Fairly numerous but light scattered scratches in reflected light. Couple of dots near the button top was dirt now removed. Full gloss and nice art. VF. Second is from "NE" (North East) June '51. Very trivial traces of dust soil on white background and a single pinpoint shallow nick on edge at 2:30. Still with nice gloss. Fine. Third with black cardboard back and bar pin is from Central, 1951. NM and displays Mint. Fourth is from Central, 1959. Bottom curl is missing piece of celluloid 1/8x5/8" long. However, maker name as well as the name "Barry Bannett" remain intact. Surface has scattered wear in reflected light with a tiny scuff area upper left and a single pinpoint age dot on the rim at the same spot. Still with nice gloss. VG. Last is Central from '72. No maker name but curl carries name "Richard Terway" the probable artist. Upper left at 11 o'clock has .25" hairline of missing celluloid, which appears to be as made and the rest of the piece is totally clean and glossy although with some yellowish tone due to the nature of the celluloid being used at the time. VG. See pair of Southeast Catholic dance buttons #958.
