Item Description
First is 7/8" "Milwaukee Carnival 1898" button with W&H paper with button pinned to a 4.5" ribbon "To Hell With Spain! Remember The Maine!" Very light spot on bottom right corner of ribbon. Button is Mint. Remaining three buttons each have W&H back paper and include a particularly scarce one picturing "Admiral Dewey" as well as the "Maine" with crossed American and Cuban flags. Next is the great cartoon button showing Uncle Sam punching a Spaniard in the nose with blood droplets and yellow stars flying into space beneath the text "Remember The 'Maine' Gosh Darn Yer." Last is the typical button picturing the famous battle ship but with the scarcer imprint "Smoke Maine Cigar." All buttons are NM displaying Mint.
