Item Description
7/8" reading "Mickey Mouse Spingle-Bell-Chicko-K". Reverse has Bastian union bug and curl names "The Leo Hart Co., Rochester, N.Y." The Mickey Mouse Magazine, produced in 1933, was a special project of Disney's merchandising genius Kay Kamen who felt it would be a great vehicle to promote Mickey movies, clubs and endorse products. The special password appearing on this button was used throughout the magazine but when something special happened such as a good deed or the introduction of a new product, the letter "K" was added at the phrase to signify that event. This button was used as a give-away at stores and theaters. The button is quite scarce as the promotion lasted only two months in January and February, 1933. NM displaying Mint.
