Item Description
Pair of boxed and complete card games made in Japan for the Japanese market by Koide Shinkosha. 1966. Each features great lid graphics of  TV's Batman and Robin. 5x5.5x1.25" deep box has some scattered lid edge wear w/corner creases but is o/w Fine. Complete w/instruction sheet, game contents include 63 numbered 1.5x4-1/8" puzzle cards, that when assembled into 21 groups of three cards, show Batman and Robin fighting robot, Batzooka, Batcopter, Batboat, Whirlybat, Batmobile, etc. Cards remain Mint as factory-sealed. Scarce. 5.5x7.25x1.25" deep box contains Karuta game. Box lid shows moderate edge wear w/color rubs and creases but remains tight w/no corner splits. VG. Half of cards have illustrations of Batman characters including Penguin and Riddler and devices like the Batmobile and other cards have matching text. We assume game play was to match descriptive text to what Batman/Robin/supporting characters were doing on opposite card though text is in Japanese. Cards remain packaged w/original paper bands and are Mint as issued. Both are scarce.
