Item Description
6" long tin litho. Japan, 1950s. Light box wear mostly to bottom which has a pair of small punctures. Lid remains clean and tight. VF. Jeep has clown driver, elephant on back with separate attachment designed like the planet Saturn featuring stars and text "American Circus." This revolves as the jeep moves forward. Hood features clown portrait bearing strong resemblance to Howdy Doody's Clarabell. Works but friction slips a bit. Typical scattered loss of silver luster on bumper and hubcaps, pinpoint paint nicks as produced. Remains glossy, Exc. Neat design.
