Item Description
5.75" tall (8.5" tall to top of raised handle) tin litho w/8.5" generic tin litho shovel. Ohio Art, ©WDE 1930s. Nice wrap-around scene w/"Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf" title at top, "Three Little Pigs" name at bottom. Practical Pig is seen atop stack of bricks by can of "Wolf Proof Paint." Despite line of stabilized oxidation to interior seam (not affecting image) exterior remains bright and glossy. Some tiny spots of adhesion to Fifer Pig's face, not distracting. Pail displays VF. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection and this is the actual example shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
