Item Description
4-5/8" tall by 5" dia. tin litho lidded biscuit tin. Made in England as noted by small text by seam. No Disney markings, but tin is decorated w/1940s and 1950s Disney characters including Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as well as characters from Snow White, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, Fantasia, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. Top of container has worn areas from lid, but these small areas of bare metal do not show when lid is in place. Scattered edge/rim/lid wear. Interior and underside have moderate luster loss. Fine overall. First we've seen in our 49 years. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
