Item Description
Pair of tin litho sand pails w/fish sand molds on undersides. Made in England by Happynak, 1950s. Smaller measures 4-3/8" tall (6.5" tall to top of raised handle) and features pirate theme w/Mickey and Minnie Mouse w/Donald Duck. Pail shows lt. wear but is Exc. overall. Larger pail measures 5" tall (8.25" tall to top of raised handle) and features ship theme w/Mickey as captain. Minnie plays w/their Nephews. Interior has some oxidation at edges of bottom and to handle. Top rim show wear w/some oxidation and is slightly misshapen. VG. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection and pirate pail is the actual example shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
