Item Description
Tin litho toy with built-in key is 3.5x24x3" tall. Earliest version c. 1929. Box has all over obvious wear including vertical tear at center of lid, interior has extensive brown paper tape reinforcement. Side panel of lid is missing a 1x2" piece. Still displayable but just Fair/Good. Toy depicts traffic cop figure at center, at ends are Main Street Station and Terminal. Attached to "track" are car, trucks and trolley cars. Works. Roof of station around key has small paint flakes and minor indent. Other scattered trace of wear with tiny paint nicks/scratches. Fine.
