Item Description
3.5x4.25" brown leather zippered wallet. Hidecraft, 1940s. Front has tooled leather design featuring full figure image of Superman flying set against Art Deco design that wraps around onto back. Interior has snap closure "Coins" compartment and clear (though yellowed w/age) windows to display ID. We know of two other Superman wallet designs by this company, including following item #2069. This variety depicts Superman flying to the left. Outside has scattered lt. wear and aging. VF overall and much nicer than usually found. Scarce. Franco Toscanini Collection.
