Item Description
Lot of five oversized 15-5/8x22-7/8" lobby cards from around 1970, promoting Mexican showing of 1950s Superman stories starring George Reeves. Each card features three distinct scenes (as the "films" consisted of three episodes of "The Adventures Of Superman" TV show, featuring Superman comic book art w/additional inset bw comic panel. Cards feature two different designs (four of one design, one of the other), including other DC Comics characters like Batman, Superman's alter ego Clark Kent, Green Arrow, The Atom, Aquaman, Krypto and The Blackhawks. All text in Spanish. Cards show moderate handling wear w/creases, color rubs and scattered margin wear. Fine overall. Large, colorful and scarce. Franco Toscanini Collection.
