Item Description
Pair by Cohn & Rosenberger, 1930s. First is 2.25x2.25x3/8" deep enamel on silvered brass w/same design on each side depicting Mickey Mouse playing a guitar for Minnie Mouse as Pluto howls. Complete w/original metal link carrying chain and original fabric liner, both of which show some scattered aging. Main purse shows little wear and is bright and VF/Exc. Second is 2.75x4" tall (counting link chain). Colorful enamel painted metal frame shows Mickey and Minnie walking together. Opposite side of frame is blank but finished in the same yellow color. Mesh purse has waves of yellow/red coloring. Moderate paint loss to outside frame, areas of oxidation on inside of frame. Mesh is a bit loose at hinges. VG overall. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
