Item Description
6" tall tin litho with built-in key. 1950s and reminiscent of a wind-up by T.P.S. but by Mitsuhashi, Japan. Toy features platform which reads "American Circus" atop a ball that has swirls and stars. Attached to either side of the platform by a bar are two monkeys while atop platform are two additional monkeys in larger size. All monkeys are in colorful outfits. Works and travels around in an erratic fashion as all of the monkeys move and the sides of the wheel spin. Tiny scattered paint nicks. Glossy, VF. Rare.
