Item Description
3.25" tall overall. Circular celluloid base has attached 1" tall three-dimensional long bill Donald Duck charm figure w/loop on hat. Donald stands next to celluloid tube that serves to house 3" long mechanical pencil which is attached to metal chain that is attached to loop on Donald's hat. Comes w/four-sided celluloid shade w/two different images of Mickey Mouse (two show him holding mail) and one of Donald. Made in Japan, 1930s. Faint and tiny Disney copyright is seen under Donald shade image. Donald figure and shade have lt. even aging, w/lt. wear to shade images but all remain distinct. VF overall. Great design. Rare and only the second we've seen in our 49 years (the previous example featured a round shade as opposed to this square shade style).
