Item Description
Pair of 3" tall Catalin plastic thermometers on base w/two-dimensional pieces w/character decals and separate tower area w/attached thermometers. Plastic Novelties Inc., 1940. Offered here are "Pinocchio" and "Jiminy Cricket," which is "New York World's Fair" variety w/name on front of base. This company produced pencil sharpeners and napkin rings featuring various Disney characters. Decals show some aging and Pinocchio thermometer backing has crack in paper backing and tiny spot of surface paper loss (thermometer tube itself is intact). Fine. Jiminy is Exc. Scarce.
