Item Description
12.75" tall Painted plaster statue. ©1942 J.Y. Jenkins as noted by incised text on back of base which also notes "Venice, Calif" as place of manufacture. Statue features great depiction of angry baby wearing sailor's cap and gunbelt w""US" holsters, a pair of pistols in his hands. Front of base has incised "Remember Pearl Harbor" text and baby is depicted w/scowl on his face. A few small paint flakes and some scattered dust soiling w/1/8x.5" flake off front right base corner. Still VF overall. Scarce. Eric Renner Collection and the example shown on page 217 of his book "American Disguise."
