Item Description
Steiff produced Mickey Mouse dolls in a variety of sizes during the 1930s, this one is 6.5" tall (to tips of ears). Has original string whiskers and replaced rubber tail (which is loose but stays in place for display); missing cardboard chest tag and button in ear that held fabric tag. .25" tear to one ear from button removal. The four mother-of-pearl pants buttons are intact. Typical trace of aging most noticeable to non-black areas, however color remains strong, w/just pants exhibiting minor degrees of the fading these dolls typically feature. Underside of one foot has clear and distinct markings including "Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse." Fine/VF.
