Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 8" tall anthropomorphic dog w/fabric outfit and bonnet, tin litho face (w/movable eyes) and hard rubber hands. Made in Japan by Tomiyama and distributed by Cragstan, 1950s. Box is complete w/original cardboard insert and shows scattered wear w/slight inward to lid resulting in some corner creases. VF overall. Toy comes w/original instruction sheet and is complete w/delicate paper flowers and plastic sprinkling can. Original Tomiyama sticker on back of dress. She is depicted watering a large flower w/plastic petals and paper leaves. Toy functions include her bending over as she raises/lowers sprinkling can a few times; she then stands upright and her eyes blink and flower petals open to expose a yellow transparent cover which lights. All functions work. One of the more interestingly designed and elaborate battery toys in choice, NM condition.
