Item Description
5x8.5x1.25" deep textured paper-covered cardboard box w/snap closure. Dixon No. 2525, late 1930s. Box has scarce image and lid features Mickey Mouse as circus ringmaster and Donald Duck riding a seal, holding a fishing pole w/fish out ahead of them, has plain back. Box shows lt. aging/wear and is VF. Pencil box includes slide-out storage tray and is complete w/original unused contents which are mostly generic "Dixon" items including wooden stylus, pencils, paintbrush, card w/four pallets of paint and metal water bowl. "Mickey Mouse Ruler" features images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as Donald, Pluto, Goofy and Horace Horsecollar. Eraser also features image of Mickey w/Disney copyright. Scattered aging to a few pieces (paintbrush metal has some oxidation and one half has come loose), including some loss to water bowl's silver flashing. Contents are Fine-Exc. overall.
