Item Description
Due to the many Mickey Mouse bisques produced in the 1930s, most collectors don't realize the rarity of this particular bisque. There were two different sizes produced of this pose, Mickey w/head turned slightly to one side (a matching Minnie Mouse was also made in two sizes; see following item #1781). This is the larger of the two, 6" tall (the other is 5" tall). Two color varieties were also made, example offered here has red pants and green shoes (the other has green pants and brown shoes). Both arms are movable. Missing string tail. Bisque has lt. aging and trace of paint wear, mostly where hands rub against body and along edges of ears. VF. We have only offered a handful of this bisque over our 49 years.
