Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 9" long truck w/painted tin cab w/plated grille/bumper, hood ornament and windshield frame. Bed features tin litho platform w"Wild Beast Hunting" cage w/original plastic windows that allow viewing of tin litho lion within. Made in Japan by Rosko, 1950s. Box is evenly aged and has some edge/corner creases. Box bottom has fade. Fine overall. Toy has interesting friction function; when toy moves forward, lion tries to emerge from door as tin litho hunter figure tries to keep him in cage. Hood has some roughness to paint and hood ornament has some luster loss. Fine overall.
