Item Description
2x3.5" single-sided membership card for 1955 features photo portrait of actor George Reeves, who portrayed Superman on the 1950s TV program "Adventures Of Superman." Card text provides line for child's name followed by text that reads "Deserves Every Consideration And Privilege As A City Of Hope Little Helper - Having Pledged To Help Other Little Boys and Girls Through The Children's Crusade Of The City Of Hope." Bottom right has Reeves' facsimile signature. Slightly diagonal vertical crease just right of center w/some scattered rubs/marks. Fine overall. Rare and first we've seen in our 49 years.
