Item Description
Both pieces are from the midwest used in the mid-1930s. The button is a 1" litho reading "Black Flame Hi-Speed Explorer." Couple narrow hairlines of wear on the outer perimeter and small paint dot off below the word "Speed". VF. The brass ring with adjustable bands has a working compass on the top. One side shows the Black Flame symbol with the word "Explorer" above while the other side shows the tiger head with the word "Hi-Speed" above. No bright luster on the ring but that is how these came and the brass finish remains in clean condition. Exc. The radio program dramatized the adventures of explorer Harold Noice in the jungles of South America. The button is fairly common but the ring is rather scarce.
