Item Description
1.25" button from small series depicting movie cowboys issued by Freihofer's Bakeries in Reading, Pa. Also in this series were Roy Rogers, Charles Starrett, Bill Elliot and Gene Autry. We've seen just a couple with a back paper naming "Freihofer's/The Perfect Loaf/©1942/Jay-Gee-Enterprises-Reading, Pa." This example in the two o'clock area has a 3/16" wide by .25" oval air spot under the celluloid which very slightly changes the tone of the blue background color on the rim. This air mark is as made and does not stand out much at all with the button otherwise being an exceptional example with hardly any surface wear. VF. High gloss.
