Item Description
Sizes are 1.25" up to 3". First button reads "Toy King/The Lone Ranger." This and the following button are from the collection of Marshall Levin. He notated back of this one "CBS Toys/NYC/Oct. 1981/M" The M indicates 1,000 were produced. Second button was a button company proof and Levin's note on the back of this is "Test 1981." Next are three probably unauthorized buttons from the 1980s. Two have some oxidation on the reverse but all the fronts are clean. Sixth button was officially licensed and includes a small "TM" symbol. Next at 2.25" is from a car dealer and known to be from 1981 with text "Help Tom Coward Ford/Save The '"Lone Ranger'." Next with the serial number "096" is from a hometown celebration and this was an official issue carrying the copyright symbol of the owner at that time Palladium Limited Partnership. This has been autographed on the back "Larry G. Benham/Designer." Last is 2.5" button suspending pair of ribbons with text "Lone Ranger/Silver Bullet Award." White ribbon has a few small darker marks. Buttons are all NM to Mint with noted exceptions.
