Item Description
Issued by Ovaltine in 1948 w/all-brass base topped by brass cover featuring Captain Midnight's clock face logo w/"CM" initials. Cover removes to reveal raised plastic circle w"R" initial printed in reverse so that when inked w/the inkpad on the cover interior this can be used as an inkstamp. While the ink has dried out, the rest of the ring is in outstanding condition w/NM luster. Comes w/3.75x5.5" mailing envelope that has numerous small creases. Fine overall. 3.25x4.25" instruction folder explains how to use ring and includes order form for Captain Midnight Ovaltine shake-up mug. Front cover of folder has two small inked circles where the ring was tested and a few small creases but overall still VF. Rarely found w/paper.
