Item Description
First picturing John Glenn is 1.75" dia. complete w/original ribbon detailing 1962 flight. Much scarcer w/ribbon than w/o. NM. Second is 3.5" dia. for 1963 flight of astronaut Gordon Cooper. Two short .25" cello splits on reverse along metal back as is typical for buttons of this size but front still displays Mint. Next are 10 identical 1.75" dia. buttons for July 21, 1969 moon landing. While the buttons are the same, each suspends a three-dimensional plastic astronaut figure in one of four different designs and in three different colors. Three figures show astronaut w/power pack in one hand and wires leading to power tool. Two show astronaut w/two different tools in hands. Three show astronaut filming w/movie camera and two show astronaut w/toolbox in one hand, tool in the other. Button itself is an uncommon design and even scarcer w/ribbon and figural attachments. All are NM-Mint.
