Item Description
Universal, ©1954 Gene Autry. Original cardboard box reads "Gene Autry's Child's Kit No. 4080." Rare box has tape repair to 1.5" long puncture at one corner and 1" tear at another corner. Box has lt. even aging and is o/w Fine/VF. Lunchbox band/back panel are cowhide print and front's "Melody Ranch" scene features Autry w/lasso on rearing Champion. Box remains bright, clean and glossy. NM/Mint. Comes w/Universal guarantee folder and all original packing material including cardboard band. "Gene Autry" 8" tall half-pint vacuum thermos w/"Melody Ranch" scene showing Autry playing guitar w/Champion. NM/Mint. Highest grade vintage lunchbox and thermos as any we've seen in our 49 years.
