Item Description
From 1933. 2-3/8x4.5x7/8" box variety w/illustrated exterior featuring different images of Mickey Mouse. Inside of lid features additional Mickey image and is usually found w/printed price, however this variety just has "Complete With Fob" text below image. Complete w/guarantee slip which shows faint vertical crease along right. Separate cardboard box/tray insert is complete w/cardboard panel that holds fob in place next to the pocket watch. Box has moderate aging to lid and has color touch-ups along edges and lid has 3/8" tear and .5" split w/glue repair to front center edge of lid. Hinged box lid has had glue repair. VG. Pocket watch is earlier version w/slightly larger case (2" dia.) and longer stem. Back of case has incised Mickey image. Dial features classic Mickey image w/second hand disc that has three smaller Mickey images. Dial shows slightest aging but remains bright and clean w/strong color. Case shows lt. wear but retains near full bright luster. Crystal has yellowed w/age, but watch is running and Exc. Comes w/1.25" dia. metal fob w/leather strap. Fob features image of Mickey and has bright luster and full accent paint, rarely found in this choice, Exc./NM condition. A very nice, boxed example of this classic timepiece.
